This short 16 page booklet summarizes the genealogy and history of King Tutankhamun.  This booklet contains reproductions of many Cartouches and a summary of each of his ancestors.  A classic pedigree chart is included. From the book: Most people have trouble with the pronunciation of the name, so the boy king is usually referred to as "King Tut" for short.  The name "Tutankhamun" is rather simple and is easy to remember when broken down into its three component parts. ...

This is a reprint of a book written by Arthur K. Hafen about his Grandfather John George Hafen.  It was published in 1929.  Note: on page 12, John George States that his fathers name is also John George, yet some records show his name as Hans George. This little sketch, rather personal in nature, is published with the hope that the ideals and characteristics of my grandfather and the experiences of his long life might stimulate those who read it, as his actions and his conversations have...

This one minute video shows the Benecia "Mothball" shipyard as it stood in 1988. The shipyard is located in Suisun Bay, near Benecia, California.  Ships that served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam were anchored here. The original mission of the mothball fleet was to preserve them so that they could become battle ready within a month. Over time, this mission was abandoned and the fleet allowed to rust and deteriorate beyond repair. Most ships were sold for scrap.  A few were...

This is a 1991 re-enactment of  a memorable event in the history of Goldsboro, North Carolina.  The video was recorded, then digitized, from a television broadcast by Bobby Hill .
